A young boy from St. Petersburg, Florida, has won the prestigious Scripps National Spelling Bee, held annually in Washington, D.C.  He outperformed contestants from across the United States, correctly spelling 29 words in a tiebreaker round, ultimately securing victory by an eight-word margin.
