The scholarship programme announced by the Adamawa State Government (Nigeria) under Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri

The Scholarship Trust Fund has released the guidelines and requirements for interested applicants 

Overview

. The programme is a foreign-Master's degree scholarship for indigenes of Adamawa State.

. It is managed by the Adamawa State Scholarship Trust Fund in Yola

. The initiative aligns with the gorvenor's human capital development agenda.

Eligibility and Requirements 

. Applicant must be between 20 and 33 years of age 

. Must hold a bacheor's degree in a relevant discipline, with at least a Second-Class Upper Division (GPA 3.50)

The priority study fields include:

. ICT / Artificial intelligence

. Geology & Mining Engineering

. Agriculture

. Engineering

. Architecture

. Medical Sciences

Scheduled timeline: 

. Application Portal opens 3 November 2025, closes 10 Novermber 2025.

. Screening ( Computer-Based Test ) between 11-18 November 2025.

Study Destinations & Coverage

The scholarship targets universities abroad in:

. Canada and Australia - for engineering and healthcare courses.

. Uzbekistan - for mining, geological sciences & technology.
