A Frist Year Student Have Been Expelled for Allegedly Demanding Ransom From parent

The University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) in Kwara State has expelled a first-year student(Name withheld), for allegedly demanding ransom from the parents of a missing classmate.The expulsion was detailed in the university’s weekly bulletin, issued by Kunle Akogun, the Director of Corporate Affairs, on Monday, June 3, 2024.

The student whose matriculation number is 22/52HL xxx, was a student in the Department of Information Technology within the Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences. Additionally, the university has rusticated Segun M a fourth-year student, for assaulting a female student. Who is from the Department of Counsellor Education in the Faculty of Education, has been suspended for one academic session.
