16 years Old girl Graduate from university and Become US full-time teacher

Hello guys! Welcome to 27-06-2024 Edition on  ayoungisedutrends.

My name is zainab as you all know, today we will be talking about a very young, talented, smart, intelligent, brilliant, and gifted 16 yeas olds girl who's an accomplished full-timeteacher in the US.

Like many 16 year olds, Shania Muhammad is still at school, but you'll find her at the front of the class, not behind a desk.

Shania isn't figuring out what she wants to do after school, she's already doing it - she's the youngest full-time school teacher in the US, teaching a Grade 3 class in her hometown of Oklahoma City.

Shania didn't just walk into her job - she has three degrees too.

One is in early childhood development from Langston University, which she earned last year, and she has two other undergraduate qualifications from Oklahoma City Community College and from Langston University, which she earned when she was 14 years old.

“I started university at 13. It was during the pandemic and my father suggested the idea. He showed me how to apply for university," Shania said on an interview on the Jennifer Hudson Show.

She's had a passion for education since childhood, she said.

"I'm so excited to show others that education is essential and you don't have to be limited to your age to expand your mind and the things you want to learn," Shania posted on her Facebook page. "We are black scholars, although we've been told to be anything but [scholars]."

Her father, Elijah, congratulated his daughter on Facebook, writing, "I'm very proud of my daughter. She doesn't let people's opinions of her get in the way of her dreams and passions," he said.

"People will always have criticism and negative things to say, but we're used to it. And not one negative comment slowed down our family's process of making history."

And Shania isn't done studying yet – she's currently working on her master's degree in business administration.

She's not the only one in her family breaking barriers and records - her brother, Elijah Jr (13) is following in his sister's footsteps, having recently earned a degree in cybersecurity from Oklahoma City Community College, making him the school's youngest graduate after he broke his sister's record.

"We planned a strong foundation in education because we always knew education would take our children to higher levels," their father said.

"So that's what we've been focusing on, making sure they're in good schools and also training at home to ensure they stay ahead and understand the power of education."
